Announcement of Selected Artists 4/1/1010

The following artists were selected by juror Bruce Waldman to be included in the Art on Paper Exhibition that will be shown in our Main Gallery from
April 23 through June 27, 2010. The judge selected 75 works from 264
entered. Thank you to all the artists who submitted their artwork for
consideration.

Please join us at the Opening Reception on April 23rd from 6 - 8:00 pm. Opening Reception events are open to the public, free, and all are welcome.

Museum Statement: This exhibition focuses on artwork in a range of paper-based media including monoprints and limited edition original prints, artist books, drawings and paintings on paper, photographs and wall-mounted paper sculpture.
Juror: Bruce Waldman, School of Visual Arts Faculty Member and a Director of the New York Society of Etchers.
Eligibility: Open to all artists world-wide age 18 and over working in paper-based media including monoprints and limited edition original prints, artist books, drawings and paintings on paper, photographs and wall-mounted paper sculpture. All artwork entered must be original creations by the artist and must have been completed in the last five years.
Submission Guidelines and Fees: Submissions are limited to a maximum of TWO pieces. Only ONE piece can be selected for the exhibition. Acceptance into the exhibition is not guaranteed with entry. Monmouth Museum Members: FREE (membership form on website) Non-members: $20 per entry.
