WONDERWING and BECKER CHILDREN'S WING have reopened with exciting additions. Be sure to call ahead to confirm hours of availability.

BLAST OFF! A Space Journey exhibition continues through August 1st, 2010 in the Becker Children's Wing with the "Fiction to Fact" Space Toys and Memorabila collection on loan from Kaller's America Gallery. Over 100 original space artifacts are featured from the days of science fiction to the present.

Monmouth Museum welcomes schools, clubs and civic organizations. We gladly accommodate buses. But all groups (over 10 persons) are encouraged to make a reservation. BLAST OFF! A Space Journey
Now on exhibit through 2010
Visitors will begin their tour with a walk through the Hall of Astronomy History. See Galileo’s laboratory and hear him speak about his many revolutionary discoveries. Explore our fascinating Solar System through interactive presentations on the Sun, the Planets and the Milky Way. Experience the wonders of the night sky in a StarLab Planetarium show. Learn about NASA and how astronauts prepare for space travel, experience a rocket launch, and travel to the Moon’s surface! The WonderWing (children 6 years and under)
The six-and-under audience will have a magical undersea learning experience in our popular WonderWing. The WonderWing is an educational space offering a permanent exhibition on the sea and the creatures that make it their home. Children can explore a pirate ship, perform in a Tiki theater, climb a tree house, experience a kelp forest, slide down whale slide, and listen to a moving waterfall. Birthday parties are booked in advance so be sure to call first to make sure the Wonderwing is open. Besides walk-in visitors, the WonderWing attracts groups from mothers' centers, daycare facilities, and nursery schools. More about the WonderWing

Travel Trunks
