A Safety Message From the Executive Director
We are so happy to have had guests return to the Museum since we reopened in June! With that excitement comes a sense of responsibility to keep our guests and staff safe.
As Executive Director, I take this responsibility very seriously and wanted to make sure that visitors understand the thought that has been given to this matter.
With so many cases in our county, we will continue to require all guests to wear masks when inside the Museum. This excludes children under 2 years of age. When visiting our garden and outdoor space, a mask is not required.
This policy allows us to offer a safe and welcoming space meant to protect our community and help slow the spread of COVID. I am optimistic that one day in the near future, we can lift the mask requirement safely.
Additionally, we have taken many other safety precautions. We have installed an iWave air purifier, which can remove viral particles from the indoor air, upgraded our bathrooms with many auto/touchless features, and added sanitizer stations throughout. The addition of our e-ticketing software system with timed reservations offers the ability to control the number of visitors in an area and less time standing in line or at the front desk.
Thank you for learning more about a visit to the Monmouth Museum - we can't wait to see you!
