BIOGRAPHY
Anthony S. Perry joined the Township Committee in 2017 and served as mayor in 2019, 2020, and 2021. He was re-elected to the Township Committee in November 2021 and was chosen by his colleagues to continue to be our mayor in 2022.
Prior to joining the Township Committee, Mayor Perry was a member of the Middletown Township Planning Board. He was also a Trustee of the Middletown Township Library Board.
After graduating from Temple University, Mayor Perry joined the Sandy Recovery Division of Governor Chris Christie’s Office coordinating recovery efforts with FEMA, the Office of Emergency Management, the Department of Community Affairs and the Department of Environmental Protection. He also served as Chief of Staff to Senator Joseph M. Kyrillos from 2014-2018.
He lives in the Village section of Middletown with his wife Alannah and their children, Reagan and Grant.
Mayor Perry is a dedicated advocate for the Monmouth Museum and supporting the arts in Middletown Township.

THE INNOVATION LAB is part of the Monmouth Museum’s newly renovated Becker Wing. Deeply rooted in STEAM disciplines, the wing is dedicated to sparking curiosity and inspiring future scientists, engineers, mathematicians, and artists. From dinosaurs and fossils to astronauts, the Museum is excited to bring a state-of-the-art experience to children and adults in New Jersey. The Monmouth Museum is 15,000 sq. ft. with two children’s wings and two galleries with rotating exhibits.
