Quilting by Hand: An Introduction to Quilting
Artist: Kirsten Fisher
Join us for an easy, hands on introduction to quilting! Explore the technique of sewing a quilt square by hand. Learn to use templates, marking sewing lines on fabric, and hand sewing of pieces. Kirsten will also demonstrate how sewing can be done on a machine, and talk about fabric washing, seam allowance, bias seams, ironing, and sewing order. All materials are included. Bring your own cotton fabric pieces if you would like to use them! (No denim or tick fabrics please.)
