The Becker Wing is now deeply rooted in the STEAM disciplines (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, & Mathematics), inspiring children & adults, sparking curiosity & imagination.

The Becker Wing has been reimagined for children of all ages to enjoy. The Wing brings science education to life as all sections are deeply rooted in the STEAM disciplines (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics).

 

 

The Wing features fossils, a dinosaur exhibit with a replica toddler t-rex skeleton, dino nest, coelophysis dig, a fossil dig and paleo lab with digital microscope, an aquaponics system with catfish and tilapia, and a media room. 

Becker Wing: Mondays-Fridays: Closed  |  Saturdays & Sundays: 10AM to 4PM

Reservations are recommended. Tickets are released two weeks an advance.

The second floor, which is handicap accessible, is the Garrett Reisman Center for Air & Space. Named for a native New Jersey astronaut, the Center has an innovation lab with a lite brite wall, magnetic ball wall, and an iPad table. The exhibit space takes visitors through the science of flight with a helicopter cab they can sit in and also features a display dedicated to a local aviation pioneer, Ike Schlossbach. 

 

Coming Soon: The Center will soon feature a look at the early stages of space exploration, constellations, a collection of Mr. Reisman's personal belongings including his NASA flightsuit, items on loan from NASA directly, and other exciting visual displays of space and beyond!
