The Friends enjoy volunteering together to support the Museum's educational and exhibition offerings. These Museum members hold monthly meetings where they plan a variety of fundraisers including the Teddy Bear Tea and special lecture/luncheons. The Friends of the Monmouth Museum have become life-long friends, making friendships that enrich their lives immeasurably.
Founded in 1982, the Friends support the Museum in its fundraising activities and present to the public a warm and welcoming interface with the Museum. They are a dedicated group of volunteers who plan, organize and host many of our most successful fundraising events and several of the opening receptions for our art exhibitions.
What We Do
Friends support the Museum in a variety of ways with a range of talents. Some Friends have strong organizational skills, others are artistically inclined or enjoy cooking. Whatever talent a Friend contributes, their time, energy and enthusiasm is greatly appreciated!
