As part of the Monmouth Museum's exhibit Native Americans of New Jersey: Past and Present, specialized community workshops will be led by members of the tribal communities represented. Join us for a series of workshops for all ages all summer long!
This workshop includes admission to the exhibit Native Americans of New Jersey: Past and Present, but the rest of the Monmouth Museum will be closed.
This late-night workshop is aimed at adults, but can be enjoyed by all ages. This event will be hosted by Ralph Phillips, a local historian.
Ralph Phillips is an archaeologist, historian, and preservation advocate with more than 70 years of experience researching and documenting New Jersey’s Native American and Revolutionary War history. His work has contributed significantly to the preservation of historic sites throughout the state, including Monmouth Battlefield. Through his research, presentations, and fieldwork, he continues to educate the public about New Jersey’s rich cultural heritage.
