Exhibit STATEMENT
The works in Color Envy are inspired by the rich tones found in nature — deep greens, floral hues, earth tones, and the shifting colors of plants through cycles of growth and decay. Through these paintings, I use color to explore mood, memory, and emotional connection rather than depict nature directly.

The title reflects our relationship with beauty and desire — the pull toward something vibrant, alive, or just out of reach. Botanical colors create atmosphere and movement, allowing the work to move between abstraction and landscape.

At its core, Color Envy is about the emotional power of color and the ways natural tones can feel both grounding and transformative.
