We are thrilled to share that the Monmouth Museum has been awarded support from the New Jersey Cultural Trust in its largest funding round in the program’s history. The Trust approved more than one million dollars in grants to history and humanities organizations across the state, and we are honored to be among this year’s recipients.

With this grant, the Museum will be able to enhance accessibility, improve visitor experience, and deepen the impact of our exhibitions and programs. Funding will help support crucial infrastructure upgrades including a new announcement system that will make tours more engaging and ADA accessible. It will also allow us to offer improved guided tours, clearer communication throughout the Museum, and even multilingual tour options for our diverse audiences.
We are proud that the Monmouth Museum was one of only four organizations in Monmouth County selected for support this year. This recognition underscores the vital role the Museum plays in serving our community and contributing to New Jersey’s cultural landscape.
As we look ahead to an exciting year of exhibitions, outreach, and expanded access, we extend our deepest thanks to the New Jersey Cultural Trust and the New Jersey Historical Commission for their commitment to strengthening cultural institutions statewide.
We can’t wait to share the impact of this investment with you. Stay tuned for updates and new experiences coming soon to the Museum.
Thank you for being part of the Monmouth Museum community.
