Our new weekend workshop series kicks off this month, designed to complement The Bias Inside Us, the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibit opening this Saturday/Sunday at the Monmouth Museum.
Each weekend features a different art style and hands-on activity inspired by famous artists and creative themes, from Pablo Picasso-style self-portraits to Henri Matisse-style collages, plus optical illusions, Peter Max-inspired paintings, and even a “Kindness is Cool” shell craft.
Workshops run Saturdays and Sundays at 10:30–11:30 AM and 12:00–1:00 PM. Space is limited to just 12 participants per session, so register early—these will fill up fast!
📅 Workshop Schedule:
Aug 9–10 – Pablo Picasso-Style Self Portraits
Aug 16–17 – Optical Illusion Canvases
Aug 23–24 – Peter Max-Inspired Paintings
Aug 30–31 – Henri Matisse-Style Collages
