We’re excited to share some great news about our weekend programming at the Monmouth Museum. All weekend workshops are now free for members and included with Museum admission Saturdays and Sundays from 11am-2pm. Every visitor is welcome to participate, with no additional cost and no registration.
Wider access, more creativity
This change is part of our commitment to widening access to the arts and making hands-on creative experiences available to more families, visitors, and community members. By offering workshops in an open, drop-in format, guests can participate at a pace that works for them and enjoy creating together without feeling rushed.
A new focus every weekend
Each weekend features a different guided craft, giving visitors something new to explore each time they visit. From seasonal and holiday-themed activities to artist-inspired projects connected to what’s on view in the Museum, the workshops encourage creativity and curiosity.
All workshops are:
Guided by Museum educators or artists
Designed for a range of ages and abilities
Fully supplied with materials
Take-home friendly, so you leave with something you made
Enhance your Museum visit
Weekend workshops are a great way to deepen your experience at the Museum. Whether you stop in for a short visit or spend the afternoon exploring, these hands-on activities invite you to slow down, make art, and connect more deeply with what you’re seeing in the galleries.
No extra tickets. No added fees. Just come ready to create.
We look forward to welcoming you and seeing what you make!
